Best MFM in D.C./Maryland

Newly pregnant, and looking for a MFM who can help me through a high-risk pregnancy. I'm in Bethesda, so willing to go anywhere in DC or Montgomery County. I have one recommendation from who my ob uses but would love other names.

Dr. Pinckert at Greater Washington MFM, hands down. Just saw him today and saw him for my first pregnancy two years ago. He has the best bedside manner, answers all your questions and takes his time. He has two new partners in his office who I have yet to see.

I had a very good experience with the MFM group at Sibley. Good bedside manner, friendly, and competent. I had a bad experience with the MFM group at Holy Cross. Would never go back.

I saw Dr Mimms at Georgetown in coordination with my OB, and I really liked him. Good bedside manner, very knowledgeable.

Dr Hammersley in Shady Grove. She doesn't deliver but works with your OB

"Best" depends on the high risk situation involved. The MFM best for mono/mono twins may not be the one best for managing a clotting disorder.

Love Dr. Mims. He is so patient and made sure I had no questions left each time we saw him and then turned his attention to my husband and encouraged him to ask whatever was on his mind. It was really nice to have a doctor put so much effort into meeting our needs and answering all our concerns instead of rushing along to the next appt.
