Traffic returning from Whitetail at 3:30 pm on a Friday?

DS's snowboarding camp doesn't end until 3:30 on Friday. It seems like it would be a reverse commute home but Fridays are always a crapshoot on 70/270. What have other people's experiences been?

| Awful once you get to the Beltway, but totally fine coming south until you get there. |

It would be 70 and I270 south bound. You don't have that far of a stretch until you get to bethesda |

| Plan on not getting on 495 but getting off I270 at either Rockville Pike or Old Georgetown Road depending upon where you live. We come from Urbana to Kensington at that time of day and always have to get off at least at Rockville Pike and sometimes sooner if the Beltway backs up onto the split. |

| If you are only going to Bethesda you should be fine. |

| We live in Bethesda and went to Whitetail last Friday. Left around 4:30 and the drive home was easy. We got off before the beltway, onto Democracy. |
