Ovulation and increased male attention

I know studies have shown this is indeed a real thing, but have you ever stopped to take notice? I have and it is uncanny how each time I notice an uptick in male attention it is generally the 13-14 day of my ovulation cycle.

I've definitely noticed it, too

I think my wet panties are a dead giveaway

What you're not factoring in is that you are doing things to generate that attention; acting and dressing differently than usual.

They're not using telepathy or anything.

It's a part of the evolutionary process

I iterations think teaching this better would help sex-ed. Yes they teach the cycle. Yes technically it’s taught. But more like, you want it more and the guy wants it more when you are FERTILE.

I mean, you definitely want to be sensitive. We don’t need teens using natural cycles, but this would be good information to explain some aspects of the behavioral side.

You are acting differently to get that attention. Studies show that woman show more skin, swing their a55 more and generally seek more male attention.

This is absolutely true. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some chemical signaling at work too, but I’m too lazy to google to see if that’s been studied and proven or disproven.

I’ve read that the woman’s face has more red in it during ovulation which subsequently makes her more attractive.

Not OP, but I do not act differently and I get more male attention during ovulation.

Sure you didn’t.

Interesting, I have been on the pill for the last 10 years, so I haven't been ovulating at all, but I get plenty of attention. Maybe I still smell like I am ovulating?

I have. I am sexier and more awesome around my ovulation. I do know that is a factor. I was SMOKIN' today at the gym. Sexy gym guy was giving me the eye today. I could see him in the reflection in the window. Heh.

OK, whatever, it doesn't even matter if sexy gym guy was giving me the sexy eye. I felt as though he was! Because I felt attractive. Gonna miss ovulation when I go through menopause.
