TTC on Anti-Depressants?

Is it possible? I have a friend who is on anti-depressants full time and she and her husband are considering ttc. She had a rough childhood so thought she'd never have kids, but is now reconsidering. However, due to the trauma of her childhood she is always on meds. Would it be possible to get pg while on meds? She has other medical issues which might make things difficult for her, but one hurdle at a time.

I took 75 mg of Zoloft throughout my pregnancy and had a beautiful healthy baby. However, I should mention that while the Zoloft stabilized my mood throughout the pregnancy, it did NOT prevent a terrible episode of PPD after my baby was born. I had to stop nursing after 5 weeks so I could take some really powerful drugs. Hopefully your friend has a good doctor who can monitor her psychological health throughout the pregnancy and after she delivers.
