Lake Placid End of March

Anyone skied in Lake Placid at the end of March? How were the conditions?

When I was there last month, the staff told me when I asked they generally have good ski conditions up until early April with machine produced snow. You will have longer days due to extended daylight which would be great. Mirror Lake might not be frozen so dog sledding and walking on the lake might be out, but you should be able to ski just fine.

Thanks. Seems consistent with what I have been reading. Went to Colorado last end of March and it rained. So similar risks I think.

If you’re looking for a place to stay Mirror Lake Inn is an excellent hotel in the Village of Lake Placid.
It is a solid 4 star hotel/spa with 2 restaurants on site. Highly recommend.

OP here, been to Mirror Lake Inn many times but in the summer and with my mom and sntime may stay at the Whiteface Lodge in a suite. Not within walking distance to the village but kids will love it. Very Disneyish.
