Length of women's lacrosse stick?

| I want to buy a lacrosse stick for my daughter, but can't find the size in the descriptions. I figure they must all be one size... How long is a standard stick? |

| You can cut them down to the appropriate size. |

| size depends on height/length of arm. hacksaw is the tool to get it there. |

OP here. Thank you for your responses. I did a bit of sleuthing before posting and saw some "interesting" videos on how to saw off a couple inches. I had ordered an Exult 300 and was curious about the length. I wonder why they don't just say 42.5 or whatever length and say tailor it as necessary.. Well, I'll see when it arrives. : ) I'm in NoVa.
On another note,  I'm now seeing a lot of lacrosse sticks adorning my DCUM pages.

Well there is that nice benefit! If you're near Alexandria at all there is a lax shop (Lacrosse Unlimited) in the Bradley Shopping Center on King Street. They are always very helpful and can help you when the head needs to be restrung, etc. |

DS started playing lacrosse when he was six with a full size stick. We opted not to cut it down so he would be more comfortable with the stick at an earlier age. Most other boys his age kept their stick full size, too.
DD 8 will play this year for the first time with a full size stick. |

| I think there's a YouTube video that I watched before I got my kid's some used sticks on Ebay to try the sport for the first time that shows the appropriate length/ how to measure for it. |
