I would like to prepare for a separation but don't know where to start.
Where can I go and whom can I talk to? I've stayed home with the kids for about 5 years, working part-time intermittently and recently started a full time (but low paying job). I don't have any money of my own (we have joint accounts where both our salaries go to, so I can't write a check from it or withdraw a large amount if money without an explanation). Please suggest specific places/people. I just want to be as prepared as I can for this as I realize I am in a weaker (financial) position. Fairfax county. |
