Kauai in December?

| Thinking about a family trip to the north shore of Kauai around Christmas. How is the weather then? I've heard it can rain a lot, but is the rain sporadic or more consistent? For various reasons we're not particularly interested in staying on the south shore, but is it relatively easy to take day trips there if the rain is consistent? Thanks! |

| There is only one reason Kauai is the Garden Island. It rains a lot. And when it rains it rains the most on the north shore. Sorry but it could rain every day and all day when you are there. Or not. |
