How to Turn Off 2018 Honda Odyssey Child Safety Lock?

I promise I've read the manual and googled for the answer but for the life of me I can't figure out how to turn off the child safety lock on the driver's side sliding door so that my kid can push the open button on his own to open the door. Can someone tell me how to do this? Thank you!!!Tu

isn't there a switch on the inside of the driver door, on the handle where the window and door controls are?

I imagine there is a manual lever on the narrow edge of the door in question (when it’s open) that needs to be flipped the other way. This is true in pretty much every car.

Or just stop by the dealer and let them do it.

The switch is not easy to see as it is inside the sliding door (the part that is hidden when the door is closed). So you have to open the door and stand in the opening to be able to see it.

it took me less than 30 seconds to google the honda odyssey owner manual found here

on page 33 of the manual which is page 20 of the linked PDF there are instructions on the childproof door locks. pages 34 and 35 talk mroe about customizing your lock and auto lock settings

Open the sliding door. Stand between the door and the car facing the door. You will see it on the side of the sliding door.
