We're IB and were ready to have no guaranteed seat for PK3, but it's now an Early Action school, which apparently does mean the kid would get a seat there as long as it's on our list.
What's the scoop on TEC for the little kids? |

Takoma is lovely with lots of involved families. DCPS early childhood is generally quite good, and the next few years will be interesting as the middle grades move out into the new facilities at the Coolidge campus starting in 2019.
The leadership is good. I recommend attending an open house, or at least the Ward 4 Ed Fair Thursday night at Roosevelt, where all the neighborhood DCPS will be represented. |
