Have $15K in credit card debt and paying off $800/month

Does it make sense to get one of those zero transfer fee and no interest for 15 months accounts? What if they don't give me a $15K limit and will my FICO be hurt?

It makes sense to get one.

How old are you? What's your fico score? What's your income? Why don't you already have other cards you could transfer to?
You better be at least in late 20s, have income near $100k, great score, and you might get a credit card with a $15k limit right away.

Don't worry about FICO. You can build it back up if it takes a hit. Pay off that debt.

yes, definitely, but only transfer as much as you can pay off before the promo period ends or else you will be hit with interest on the whole amount.

That isn't always true, not by a long shot.

I would know, as we paid off over $50,000 in cc debt using 0% offers.

I should add that what you are saying is typically more true for store credit cards. As in, financing electronics and furniture over a period of however many months.
