Ugly, garish, too big, two story foyer with railed balcony is hideous. Cheap siding, big weird triangle theme architecture. Nah. |
No, I don't want it for myself. I'm just in awe that silver spring is now the place where the luxury homes are being built! |
Take someone who builds in Potomac and then ask them to build with a Silver Spring budget. You get this. |
Wow, I am NOT a person who has a good eye for these things - often stuff that is trashed here looks perfectly fine to me - but that is so heinous. |
It’s a sign of our society - no matter how often people point out that these things are heinous they keep building them. |
“The” place? Snort. Maybe SS is the place where big homes circa 1991 are built in 2018. |
That builder grade home is 15 years old. I guarantee it will need a new HVAC system shortly if they haven't already replaced it. I assume school's are awful too. |
Huh. I don't understand why this house is being trashed. Looks like it would be a great house for a family with a nice large yard and good open space, which is what buyers are looking for. "Heinous" and "garish" and "ugly"sounds like sour grapes neighbors to me. |
This is a beautiful home. I wouldn't call it a dream home but it is a very nice house. |
Pretty bland and ordinary to me. I'd hardly call it beautiful. But the house isn't too bad. It's biggest flaw and it is a glaring flaw, is that massive gable over the central block. It's waaaaaaaaay too big and utterly unnecessary. It dominates the house and skews the proportions and makes it look heavy handed. The builder (as there was obviously no architect involved) should have stuck to a straightforward and traditional roof line. |
You must stand in front of your house a lot more than the rest of us. |
It seems fine to me. Way too many bedrooms. I guess there is a market for 7 bedroom homes but the need seems rarer in this area. |
the irony |
The finishes in that house look cheap |
