2018-19 school calendar?

Does anyone have a quick link to the calendar for 2018-19? Specifically looking for start dates in August, especially for new Kindergarten students. Thanks.

First day of school is September 4, it looks like.

So I would expect Back to School Day to be the previous Friday.

Kindergarten orientation, though, will be in the spring. Those are two days when this year's kindergartners are off so that incoming kindergartners can do the "assessment."

Follow up question to this - I am looking to buy a house in MoCo in order to be there in time for K in the fall. If I don't yet have a home purchased by the orientation, can anyone tell me what happens? Will I be allowed another time to tour the school with my children and potentially meet K teachers? Or otherwise schedule whatever the assessment is? Thanks.

My guess is if you call during the summer and set up a time, someone will give you the 10 min tour and answer questions.

I doubt you can meet K teachers over the summer. They may not even know exactly who is teaching what grade before the beginning of August.

+1 they won't have the staffing to fully assess kids who enroll over the summer. And teachers are on vacation. My guess is that your kid would be randomly assigned to a class and you could meet the teacher the Friday before school begins in August.

Most schools have a meet the teachers during preservice, and a specific kindergarten activity too. They want all new students' first day to be less stressful. Don't book vacation that week.
