| Nibbling on some truffles we were given. Don't taste as well as I remembered. About to pitch what I believe is a $100 box of chocolates. What's the best chocolate that's reasonably easy to find? |
| honestly, my fav is dove. |
| Neuhaus in Union station is amazing, and they sell online too |
| Godiva was sold about a decade ago, and has gone downhill. |
Good. They don’t taste as good. |
I briefly considered going there and then didn't. Thank you. |
| Simple Dove milk and dark chocolate. Simple with no side taste. Never mind Godiva. What the hell is Hershey selling! |
This or Leonidas (in Georgetown) are probably the best chocolate in DC. And the most expensive. I believe both are European chocolate and imported. |
Love Neuhaus!!! |
| I'm a plebe. My favorite is Hershey's. I've never cared for Godiva, before or after being bought. |
| I'm not a plebe, but my fav is also Hershey's |
Love love love Neuhaus! |
| There seem to be more local chocolate shops now. Check out Bluprint in Old Town or SPAGnVOLA or J Chocolatier. |
You’re welcome. I will always go there. |

With Godiva, you're paying for the name.
The ingredients are now pretty trashy. |
