What is the cost of a three morning program at your preschool? or 5 mornings?

I am starting to look at preschools. I was just taking a simple survery of costs. You can tell me the name of your school, but isn't necessary.

| We pay $225 a month for our 3 yr. old M-TH 9am-1pm preschool. There's also a co-op obligation of 14-15 times per year or pay out an extra $65 per missed co-op. |

| There is a recent post on preschool costs. In Arlington, church-based preschools usually run $235 - $315 for a 3-day program. The hours are usually 2.75 - 4 hours per day (so the program that is $315/mo probably has longer hours). Most 5-day programs range from $340 - $430/month. Some programs add supply fees, activity fees, and other extras (fundraising, etc.) on top of the monthly fees. You should also consider how many hours you want your child in school, and if you would be likely to sign up for a lunch option if the preschool lets out at noon. The costs for the lunch options vary widely. Some co-ops are as low as $5/day, while other programs charge as much as $20/day. |
