It is just ridiculous. All it takes is a check with a lot and block number ... who are these politicians? Does MOCO hate people who actually pay taxes so much they will penalize them in such a fashion? And it's not MD-it's Montgomery County.

Yes, in MoCo we have literally elected buffoons to office. They have mostly invested in bringing illegal immigrants from El Salvador and Honduras to our county so that they keep getting elected into office so infrastructure has suffered severely. If you pay earlier than June 2018 they will literally just hold the check on your 2017 account until you write them a letter asking for a refund. It’s been this way for 20 years and it has not changed. It ek t change until we take notice of politics and stop voting in people who are literally raping our county for their own benefit. |

Uh, no. None of that makes logical sense. How do you "invest in bringing" people here? How would having illegal immigrants help them get reelected? They can't vote, other than in Takoma Park, and that's only for Takoma Park city issues. Not the County. Illegal immigrants are here, and we need to deal with that. But no one is bringing them here on purpose. You are out of your mind. |

| This isn't entirely true. My property tax bill is issued twice a year for an assessment period hat runs July to July. The most recent one I received asks for payment for the portion through July 2018 by December 2017. So at least we "prepaid" 6 months of next year's tax bill. |

| They are meeting tomorrow and will pass the legislation to make it possible to prepay and have to quickly sort out the website to do it. There is a public hearing tomorrow as well. Since they still need to follow the county rules for legislation which includes public hearings and comments. |
