That is an interesting article. It covers everything -- student adjudication, a he-said/she-said, roommates who intervened, the victim who at the time did not say no or tell anyone, and stories/rumors that have followed the guy for almost 15 years.

This is one I'm not believing. If he's that much of a maniac, there will have to be more victims who come forth.

Student adjudication? Why not go to the real police?

This is akin to parents seeking justice from the church when a priest raped their child. Why go to the org that has incentive to cover it up? Call the cops, people!

I was raped in college, and I went to the police but they chose not to pursue it. I remember the detective telling me gently that while it did happen, but legally it wouldn't hold up. I chose student adjudication because he was in all of my classes in our small college and I wanted him to switch to other classes so I wouldn't be triggered and fail out of school.
