I had something like this last December. I just could not put my finger on it regarding what it was. I was so confused I remember telling my husband that. No one else in the family caught It beyond a runny nose/low-grade fever. Just confusing all around at the time.

+2 Same here, in late Feb/early March. It was a different headache/sinus pain, body ache, cough, and chest heaviness than I've ever felt from a cold or flu, plus a brain fogginess. It doesn't sound nutty at all to me to describe it as mystical -- it was a very, very strange, almost otherworldly feeling.

My husband has Covid right now and this is how he also describes it. Thankfully the kids and I were spared. He knew he was exposed and isolated. Thankfully we have a large home and he can do it here without being anywhere near us.

I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

Get a grip. I only found out I had it when I was forced into a test prior to sinus surgery. We just assumed I was sniffly.

And because of people like you freaking out, I'm still dealing with chronic sinus infections.

Any President has access to the files regarding who murdered JFK.. but disclosing any of it won't be a death sentence. Also, the Koch family and H. Ross Perot knew who did it. They had the money and connections.

Not PP but I’ll give it a whirl. I don’t really agree with the term scam, but I think it’s a massive failure by our leadership. Early pandemic was kind of scary and full of unknowns. As a result, most politicians put in place strict lockdowns to keep people home and slow the spread. That made sense. As time passed we realized that overall it’s not a particularly deadly disease, except to a specific portion of the population. On top of that, our current approach isn’t really slowing the spread that well, and in turn, not protecting the vulnerable that well.. Meanwhile, the economy is hurting. People’s mental health is taking a hit. Kids are getting a crappy version of school and little social interaction. When we realized all of this, we should have pivoted to an approach that would best hedge against all of these risks, I.e targeted support/leave programs for the vulnerable populations—for example, schools open but leave and government support for high-risk teachers. High risk families can opt out. But can politicians admit their initial approach isn’t working? No, they double down on it instead. And here we are.

They refrained from giving orders to stop the protesters and only when the VA national guard was called in did the police get the orders to clear the Capitol.
