No. Anyone successful was just plain lucky. I was not picky whatsoever and must have put 50 sets of tickets into my cart all to be told some other fan had just purchased those tickets. If you make it out of the queue, grab anything you can afford and checkout as quickly as possible. Don't blink.

So are the tickets for sale son Stub hub now fake?

Hard to say. But even if the tickets were truly purchased today, TM has not released them to be transferred yet, even to another TM customer.

The people who got really screwed were those who were let out of the queue between about 10:15 and 11am. There was a window of time when none of the codes worked. I was in this group.
Then those who were let out between about 11am to 3pm were let out in a steady trickle and were able to purchase tickets.
Then at 3pm the entire queue was emptied and there was a mad dash all at once for the remaining tickets. I was back in the waiting room during this and was let out. The code I had which was denied earlier worked this time but I couldn't grab any tickets.

Really, it was just luck as to when you were let out of the waiting room.

It seemed the same. We had three different people on trying. I waited for hours and bought tickets after 2:00 for the Friday night show. I put in several combinations before finding two I could actually purchased that weren’t bought before I could check out. Another tried for Saturday and when they eventually got in they couldn’t purchase anything. My other friend had a code for Friday but couldn’t get it to work at all today.

Yes, I can see mine in the account and I received an email almost immediately.

OP here-my cc was charged. I have the order number and confirmation email, but the app keeps saying to check later on the tickets. Sigh.

Yes, this was my experience for Philly, 5/14, too.

I was in that group but my code “unlocked” available seats. I kept adding seats until the payment screen appeared and got to the final place order screen several times before receiving an error. I guess I tried to buy tickets too many times and Ticketmaster kicked me out as if it was my decision not to go through with a purchase. Very frustrating and in the end I didn’t get tickets.

Seems this is accurate. I was released from the waiting room in the big dump at the end and nothing was left.

Who said they put so few tickets in the presale?

Maybe more people bought the max that they expected?

I think they expected most to buy 2 per code. Many I know bought 6 just in case or for someone else.

I bought 6. I probably won't need all of them depending upon how things go tomorrow.

I'd love to buy them from. you! I didn't get preselected so who know if I'll ever get anything.

Are the tickets transferable?

Right now, it says fan to fan sales are not available. I wonder if that's b/c it's still in presale.

Here is my theory because I’ve been seeing this restriction on tickets I’ve purchased on Ticketmaster lately when it wasn’t there a few months ago.

Everything is mobile tickets. And while the tickets you just purchase might be found in your Ticketmaster account it will not allow you to transfer them. If you were to sell your tickets for whatever reason on stub hub or vivid seats, etc or even from person to person you do the transfer. I usually am reselling tickets because my plans changed and I just want to recoup some costs. I noticed recently TM does not allow you to resell tickets below face value. I had Killer tickets last month I needed to offload bc I couldn’t go, and I just wanted to get some money back and knew I wouldn’t break even but the only way I could sell them for cheap just to get something back was to list on StubHub. When they sold, SH gave me the email of the buyer, I transferred the tickets to him and everyone wins.

But now Ticketmaster is locking your tickets, you cannot transfer. BUT you can resell them, but only on their platform and only at face value OR HIGHER.

Super shady and BS. This has seriously become a monopoly. I don’t love AOC but she’s right, Live Nation/Ticketmaster needs to be broken up.

I thought TM says facevalue only?

Nope. I tried to sell broadway tickets a few months ago and it let me set my own price (actually gave me a range of what they suggested I list), but I couldn't go below face value. I had bought them on Ticketmaster so they knew.

I think Pittsburgh will be easier than Philly. You can also consider making a trip out of one of the destinations when school's out. There are so few shows in the mid-atlantic.

This. I was released in the big dump and got very mediocre seats.
