14 year old and best friend
I don’t have teens yet, but I remember not having one at that age for sleepovers, as long as we stayed quiet and out of trouble.
No, they just couldn't keep us awake.
No. I don't allow sleepovers if we have something important the next day.
No way you can control any bedtime for any teen, unless you're willing to confiscate all electronics and stay awake listening at the door.
No.
I enforce not disturbing others.
I don't think I even had a bedtime at 14.
I dont have a bedtime for my 11yr old and his sleepovers. I just tell them to make a good choice and dint keep me awake with noise. Had a sleepover last night and they went to bed around midnight
Lol, no.
LOL - Good luck with that. How exactly do you intend to enforce that?
I can't even make the 10yo kids go to sleep...
No, even at age 8 I caught the kids up watching a movie at 3am, long after I thought they were sleeping.
I also have a 14 year old and you just can't. DD will stay up nearly all night when she has sleepovers, so I discourage them as much as I can. Instead, I take her and her friends to evening events and drop off after, or they hang out at each other's house and I pick her up/drop them off at 10. They don't seem to mind it too much, as long as they get to stay out until 9 or 10, and DD isn't nearly as grumpy the next day.
