Yeah! BFP what does SG do next?

So I got a BFP and am happy. I had my three beta tests done at SG and am told to come in at 6 weeks for the ultra sound? WHat can I expect? Is it just like the normal monitoring they do during our cycles or is it more like a pap smear. I am a little nervous and don't know what to expect.

i got a bfp once, and went back for an u/s after my HCG was in the 3 thousands i think. it was at cfa and they did a vaginal sono to look for the heartbeat and i think probably measured the size. i actually had to go back b/c no hb was detected the first time....after they did detect the hb then they sent me off to my regular ob/gyn. congrats~

I got a BFP on Monday (DF patient) and I have to go in again this morning. Why do I have to repeat the test? Should I schedule an appt with my ob or just wait until 6 weeks?

Yay you get to "graduate" and see your baby for the first time. You'll get to see the heart beat and a picture of your little bean. You'll come in once more at 8 weeks to make sure things are progressing then you're sent to your OB. Mine saw me at 10 weeks.

they like to take your blood to check to see if your beta #'s are doubling every 48 hours. i think they will do this until you get to a particular level, and then you will have an ultrasound.

SG does ultrasounds during weeks 6 and 8 and then sends you off to the OB.
