Lavar Ball

I know he gets deserved criticism but wondering if his decision to have his middle son play in Lithuania is so terrible. I understand that he is only playing in Lithuania because Lavar made him quit UCLA, but considering his other options, it seems to make sense. If he isn't playing anywhere competitively, how can he get better and develop as a player? To be clear, I am only referring to the middle son LiAngelo and not the youngest that he withdrew from high school. That was a total bone head move.

A father shouldn't be making career decisions for his adult children.

I hate the man.

Off topic, I know, but I really can’t stand him!

He is a great promoter.

He is the next Kris Kardashian. He didn’t have a daughter with a sex tape, so he had to work with two drop-outs instead.

I'm all in for his entrepreneurial spirit in promoting his own shoe brand but pulling the 2 boys out of school wasn't a good move. The middle son screwed himself by stealing in China and getting suspended from the team. However, he wasn't going to play much and had no chance of reaching the NBA. He's just not that good.

The youngest son has potential but has never really played in a well run system. His dad was always his coach and he needs to learn how to play. Maybe overseas will develop his game but it's too bad he will never have a chance to develop at the collegiate level (if even for 1 year).

He's a clown show. After watching his totally money driven appearance on CNN during his little bicker war with Trump I'd have to say Trump won, and I am not a Trump fan at all.

His boys will last 1 month max in Lithuania. He's really backed himself into a corner. My only concern is with LaMelo (youngest). He was pulled out of high school to be home schooled and is now a 16 year old playing in Lithuania. He has a lot of talent and could've played 1 year in college and then gone pro. LiAngelo never had the talent to begin with and wasn't going to play much at UCLA and was a looong shot to ever make it into the NBA. He screwed himself out of a free college degree when he got in trouble in China. His scholarship to UCLA was part of the family deal and he should've taken advantage of it.

I know jack sh*t about basketball but this is pretty much exactly what DH said about the situation.

Lavar is a very resentful father and has screwed the future of his two younger sons.

Maybe the NCAA rules are screwed up.

The rule that kids have to play 1 year in college before going to the NBA but can't earn money.

One boy (unrealated to the Balls) had a youtube channel that became popular and the NCAA said he had to stop and could not receive the money.

Not too long ago NCAA players could not have any job. Now kids spend hour and hours of their life making money for the university and the NCAA and some of them are not even on scholarship, some are but have little money besides room and board.

It feels like these universities own these kids and control them.

University sports and the NCAA is dirty business .. they found a loophole, play somewhere else for a while, make money and then go to the NBA.

Unintentional irony award. So weird that someone who can't write a sentence of coherent English is talking about the "stuffs" coming out of someone's mouth and "hanging around garbages."

Look, I get that you may be an immigrant and English may not be your first language, but please don't project your weird racist judgement onto people that you apparently know nothing about.
