ISO Inn for Couple Getaway One Hour or so away

| If anyone has an inn or location to recommend for a last-minute romatic getaway this weekend, please let me know. I looked in at the inns I could find around Washington, VA and they were all booked. Thanks! |

| Schooler Inn in Fredericksburg. You have to know she's there. She doesn't advertise. I was referred by another B&B in Fredericksburg. |

| If you're willing to travel a tad bit further, we love the Five Gables Inn and Spa in St. Michaels. It is very doable as a one-night getaway. |

Thank you for the responses! We booked a night at Smithfield Farm. Other responses still appreciated for future weekends away...always looking for new spots.
I did call Poplar Springs, but they would only do a $500+ a night room that included an elaborate dinner and brunch. I have eaten and stayed there before and that was not the case then so that was disappointing beause I would have enjoyed staying there and having dinner...brunch is just too much for me. Anyway, looking forward to trying out Smithfield Farm! |

| Have fun! I loved Smithfield Farm. It was gorgeous and the owner was very nice. Picked up some grass fed beef on the way out too. |
