Early Decision Results for APS, ACPS & FFX?

Stats such as...?

My DS applied to four schools and received acceptances in Sept. Three of the schools were OOS state schools and the other was an OOS private. Two were early action/early decision non-binding and two were rolling admission.

Stats such as gpa, SAT, school or type of school ( for example : UMD, William and Mary, Ohio LAC, OOS flagship...)

Initial SAT 1100, which was high enough to be accepted. Second take of SAT 1320. GPA ~3.1

The college forum is tiresome and unhelpful as almost all the posts are about HYPS or other elite schools. What about "normal" schools? Surely there are parents who aren't obsessed with the idea of an Ivy?

NP and I totally agree--that forum is insanely focused on HYPS and so-called "elites."

That said...right now there's a thread starting on U of Richmond that's got some positive stuff to say (shocking, I know!)

I suggest college confidential.com for a more balanced perspective, though it won't necessarily have forums just about results in this region.

Any non athletes get into UMary Washington, William and Mary, George Mason or Tech (nonengineering) with Cs in advanced classes?

Yes, mine got into George Mason EA with a C in AP Calculus (applied as social sciences major).

Bump for updated FFX, Falls Church and Arlington admits or disappointments. ED, EA or anything else.
