Anyone know of restaurant supply stores in VA?

I've got an itch to browse through a restaurant supply store, but I can't find any searching the web. Anywhere in NOVA is fine, but I'd prefer a place around Fairfax. I know it's a long shot but maybe somebody drives past one everyday on the way to work and knows where one is?

There's one in Alexandria, but I can't remember exactly where. I bet if you just go through the yellow pages you'll find something.

The one in Alexandria is the Restaurant Depot on Eisenhower. You will need a business license to buy from there though. There's also a small one off General Washington Dr off Edsall Rd. It's called next day Gourmet. I believe they have an online catalog. It's a very small store though.

funny coincidence! i've been thinking i'd like to check out a restaurant supply store in md. but i've never been to one. are many open to the public? do they generally have good supplies for home cooks or more for an industrial scale?

I finally found one in Chantilly that's open to the public. NSB Food Service, I think it is. I don't know what they have, or how they're priced but I'm headed there now. Will post when I get back. I expect to have to buy a min qty of 1 dozen on most dishes and glasses? Should be fun at least!

Ok, so that store was a bust, but I've heard before that other ones (bigger, I guess) have lots of mdse in stock for the kitchen. I may have to make a trip to the one in Alexandria...
