Kids Elite Sports Camp for 4YO?

Anonymous
We're starting to think about summer options for our current PK3 student. This is our first foray into camp planning, and it's overwhelming! We're thinking of doing Sidwell and/or Levine Music Camp to cover most weeks. Curious is anyone can speak to Kids Elite Sports Camp at Wilson? I don't see many mentions of it on this forum, but it's attractively priced with the early bird discount. Thanks!

Bump. Any feedback?

Our sports loving kiddo loved it last year as a 5.5 yo. Well run program and caring enthusiastic counselors who seemed to know the kids. I’d recommend it!

I sent my then 4.5 year old for half day camp for several weeks. She liked it enough to go back the following summer for a few full weeks. I didn't send her last summer only because I now have a 2nd child and it involved packing him into the car after already trudging home on the Metro with him to get her, and he gets car sick, especially when it's warm.

I wish they had gone swimming a bit more and allowed for the swim test for younger kids, my kid did not like going in the pool with a life vest on, other than that my kid liked it and came home wiped out. She really liked the "field day" on Fridays and some game about finding a chicken.

A lot of kids from our neighborhood school (Shepherd) seem to attend. We go to Lowell since it's close by, but have heard good things about Kids Elite.

My kids love it - know lots who go there from younger ages to older. The guy who runs it is awesome - if you are involved in DC baseball or Track and Field at the high school level - everyone knows and loves Des
