Tylenol-first trimester

I have a backache and would like to take some tylenol. Wondering if it's safe to take Tylenol in the first trimester? I don't want to call my OB's on-call physician on a holiday just for a backache.

Hello,

I had terrible headaches during my first trimester and took Tylenol. I emailed one of my doctors and he told me that Tylenol was fine- just don't take more than the recommended dose.

I always started out with one and only took a second if I really had to (which I sometimes did)! I hope that you feel better!

Tylenol is absolutely fine during the entire pregnancy. Just don't take Advil.
