typical rate for lacrosse private 1-on-1 lesson

How much do you typically pay for an hour private lesson in lacrosse? I saw a 20 years old who plays lacrosse at U. of Michigan giving lesson to a 14 years old in the summer at Mclean HS. He told me that he charges $30/hour. does that sound right?

That sounds low to me actually. My kids participate in two different activitites and both are $40/half hour with $10 goin to the facility and $30 in their pocket. This is different since there wouldn’t be a facility charge, but it seems more than reasonable.

A lot of beginning and more experienced players in our area have personal lessons with some local DIII team members at their facility. They typically charge $50 an hour.

$30 sounds really low to me for a kid who is playing at U of Michigan. You might want to jump on that offer.

Most top coaches typically charge $80 for a lax private, $60 for a semi or small group. These include well-known coaches and players who graduated from top lax schools like UNC and UMD.

High school kids who are top area players typically charge $40.

HS kids? Heck, with enough clients they can move out on their own!
