Virginia-Unemployment while Working another job ? Layoffs are on the way for my company, but I also work on the weekends at a retail store. earning about 200 dollars a weekend. At my current job I am earning $760 dollars a week. Will I be able to apply for unemployment?

You have to report your earnings. The amount will be subtracted from your weekly unemployment. For example, if you qualify for $200 per week, but your part-time job earns you $50 per week, then unemployment will pay you $150.
