Soccer goalie training

| My 6th grader is naturally talented in the goal. He has recently shifted his focus from another sport to soccer. Playing on MSI right now and for private MS. Suggestions for specialized goalie training? I would consider training as an adjunct to the two current teams or joining a club team (MoCo) if it would provide him excellent goalie training while not completely limiting his ability to develop as a field player as well. |

By 7th grade you need to decide which one, unless you're Brazilian, in that country the GK have just as good footwork as the field players.
No need to go the private training route unless you're really going to be dedicated to the position. |

| Most travel clubs include GK training sessions for interested players. It is usually on the club website. My DS' club offers it, and I know others do too because we are looking at changing clubs but only to one that also offers GK training. |
