16 year old with ADHD and energy drinks

Are energy drinks bad for Teens with ADHD? my DD is drinking some in the AM. her friend is giving her some and I am not sure what to do. Can she have a heart attack if she takes Adderall and 1 can of energy drink like Red bull?

That sounds like a lot - I'd ask her psychiatrist because that could be way too much caffiene plus a stimulant....

If she's already on meds, call the doctor in the morning about the energy drink.

she said she doesn't drink all of it at once. she starts at about 7;00 and finshed it at 11

Certainly check with your doctor, but a can of Red Bull has less caffeine than a venti Starbucks coffee. I would think if that were a problem, there would be warnings all over the.place not to have any caffeine when on Adderall.
