Hi all,
Are you planning to give something to the teachers for Thanksgiving? If yes, could you share some ideas? Thanks! |
| Good God no! Stop that crazy talk. |
I teach preschool and have never gotten a thanksgiving gift.
|
| No, I just do Christmas and birthdays. |
|
No. December holidays and end of year.
OP if you really want to give a gift, my suggestion is this. Get some writing paper. Have your child draw a pumpkin or turkey or other Thanksgiving symbol on the top. In the rest of the space, hand write a happy Thanksgiving message or a note of appreciation. |
| Ugh. No. |
| Thanksgiving is not a gift giving holiday. At all. |
Um no. Why would anyone do this? Christmas is around the corner. Stop the crazy!!!! |
|
Dd is in 3rd grade.
My list for holiday gifts are: Christmas Teacher appreciation day End of school year |
| I’m a teacher and even I think this is crazy. Christmas is coming up - if you want to give a gift, save it for then. Don’t add unnecessary stress to your life |
|
No presents, not when my DS was in preschool, and not now that I’m a preschool teacher. Absolutely not necessary.
One of my students brought us flowers yesterday (one bouquet for the classroom, not a bouquet for each of us) and told us he was thankful for us. That was sweet. |
| You crazy. Shut the f up and go eats some turkey. |
| Yams. |
| We were encouraged to make thank you cards for teachers this week, def no gift until the holidays |
