| We are hosting a sleepover for our tween boy and looking for ideas as well as potential problems to look out for. TIA for any advice. |
| You'll be fine. Lots of chips and soda. Make sure the wi-fi is running hot so they can play their video games. |
And look at the porn online. |
| Just let them be. Kids entertain themselves. Just occasionally toss food their way. |
|
Boy sleepovers are super easy. No drama like what I remember from girl slumber parties of my tween-middle school days
Just make sure there is plenty of food and video games available. Take phones and put them in a basket by the front door so no one takes an inappropriate video at your house under your supervision. |
| I didn't think about that. We don't have any wifi controls. Is there one that can be set up quickly? |
| I always let visitors know we have a rule that no phones go upstairs (to bed). One of us come downstairs at about 1 a.m. To tell them it's bedtime. 13-yr olds obey. If not, it's the last sleepover. |
| Keep an eye on them so you can make sure they aren't looking at porn online. I'd rather have them play a violent video game on the living room TV than let them sit around with their phones. Lots of food, drinks and a tolerance for noise and rough housing. |
| If you are so inclined you can listen for fart contests, online porn, war game online games, and truth or dare games with like minded girls. |
Not all 13 year-olds obey and they in fact goad each other on. Would be nice though. |
Do you use Verizon? |
The definitely goad each other! Mine usually wind down between midnight and 1, so it’s not been an issue to tell them it’s time to shut everything off. OP - charge all the video game controllers beforehand! |
Google OpenDNS. Set your WiFi router to use their DNS servers. They will filter out all kinds of inappropriate crap. |
hahaha |
The average 13-year-old boy will be able to circumvent this in about five seconds.... |
