Have you bought your DD any clothes from Shein or a similar store?

My DD has been asking me to order from the site Shein as well as another one that is similar. It looks like all the clothes are shipped from China and that it varies as to whether you actually get what you order and if it even looks like the photo. I am also worried about the sizing and quality. I realize it's not going to be top quality but at least good enough to make it through a couple of wears.
If you have purchased from that site or a similar one, where the items you received ok? In terms of sizing, does it really tend to run small? |

This article does a pretty good job of explaining why these cheap, too-good-to-be-true, usually Chinese owned clothing websites are total scams. From what I've garnered, Shein is probably the best as far as chances of being scammed/quality level out of all of them, but I still think you're taking a risk by ordering from them. Returns are nearly impossible and the quality is hit or miss. I would probably skip it, unless you're willing to give it a try for the heck of it. |

Why respond? To hear yourself? OP-I have heard people complain about sizing and then you're stuck with the clothes. If your DD is teeny tiny you may fair better, but my understanding is that for those beyond a 00 size, nothing fits like expected. |

I ordered from shein, wish and others.
I had a few pieces of clothing that I hated (I sold them through FB marketplace) and the rest I love. Super cheap. It really does run small. I wear XL but I have to order 5XL from them and then everything fits. Yes, shipping takes a while. I ordered from multiple websites and some of them get here faster than others, but I don't keep track of which ones. Good luck!!
