When you log in you can see the 'last updated' time for the particular course. I usually see around 3am so I'm guessing that is the automatic update.
My understanding is that teachers usually enter their grades into Pinnacle, and Pinnacle updates myMCPS periodically (guessing around 3am) but that teachers could also conceivably enter directly into myMCPS, and that may make a difference in when you are seeing updates. |

I see the 3am updates on the app. I don't see an update time on the website. My experience has been that the website is more up-to-date than the app, but I don't know if it is designed that way or if the app has been down. (It was down quite a lot at the beginning but I haven't noticed too much difference lately.)
In general, if you're antsy about something, the website may be more up to date. |
