My course has a two day test that had to be given this week. I graded for hours every single night M-Th to make the deadline yesterday. My family ate fast food for dinner. I didn’t take my DD to GS. I didn’t do laundry. I graded between parent conferences and then stayed up at home until 1 am. But I got my grades in. I assume other teachers had a similar week.

Are the grades I see on MyMCPS the final grades for the first quarter?

When I go onto myMCPS portal I see “no class information is available “. It’s been down for me since mid week last.

Does anyone know when the grades we see in myMCPS are likely to be 'final' for the first quarter?

I just got a notification for grade updates, but there was no change to a class where I was expecting it.

DD has a 0 for an assignment she swears she turned in; she said she spoke to the teacher, who was going to adjust the grade but I haven't seen any adjustment over the past week. If the grade never changes, I plan to contact the teacher because dd has had a pattern of not turning things in, so I need to know that that she really did this time -- so it is important to me to find out at some point, but I also don't want to bug the teacher during what has to be a really busy time.

Long story, but does anyone know how long teachers have to add to their grades before they are 'final' for the quarter?

According to Canvas teachers had until noon today to finalize grades and they will be wiped out tomorrow.

Looks my kids are already wiped out. Main page shows grade but when you click on it there is nothing.

It's bizarre that MCPS would zero out the fall assignment grades before parents receive report cards. For parents not following closely, if their kid comes home with a low grade they would want to be able to dig into the individual scores to find out why, no?
