TCC baby #2 after problems with baby #1

We finally had success TTC with DD #1 after a year. I was not ovulating and then had very irregular cycles and a short luteal phase. I'm still breastfeeding (no return of menstruation yet) DD #1 but starting to think about trying again. Did anyone who had a similar situation have an easier time conceiving the second child?
