I keep giving sabra another chance and I really don't like it. I like the hummus at restaurants like cava or any mediterranean place. What is your favorite brand that isn't too thick? |
I love hummus but really dislike Sabra. I really like the Harris Teeter store brand. Smooth, not too thick, and more tahini-y than Sabra which I think makes a big difference. If you go to Costco, the Kirkland Signature hummus, which I think only comes in single serve, is pretty good. Also, if you ever see Sabra Organic at Costco, it tastes great and not at all like regular Sabra. |
Well you can buy Cava brand at Whole Foods and Giant - Perfect Pita brand is also delicious and the small batch fresh made hummus at Whole Foods is great. But I assume you mean mass market - I surprisingly think that Nature's Promise (Giant in house organic line) is decent. I dislike Sabra and Tribe and Whole Foods (the mass mkt) brands. |
Trader Joe's organic hummus. |
Cava hummus. I've seen it at MOM's and Whole Foods. |
Pita pal! |
I'm not always in the mood for the Hope curry hummus at Whole Foods but when I am...wow |
Perfect Pita (jalepeno is best) |
Nature's Promise at Giant |
Cava, Perfect Pita or Wegmans |
+1 hands down the garlic and original beat all others |
Asmar's hummus/hommus, available at places like Mom's and Whole Foods. Local, delicious, and actual hummus - not hummus-like-substance. |
Aldis brand |
I know you want store bought, but it’s really easy to make at home. |
Same...cava brand and perfect pita brand. Both can be store bought. |
