I’m an upper middle class professional and a Democrat. For years I’ve been hearing that I should really be Republican for my own self interest. Less taxes and all that. But now this new Trump/Republican tax plan come out and guess what, it complete is not good for me.
Can someone explain? |
|
No one here will tell you to vote Republican.
Don't be silly. |
I thought liberals wanted their taxes raised to support those in need. All talk? |
Is that part in the Republican budget? |
Only with other people's money. |
I'll pay more taxes willingly if the social safety net is strengthened, the health of the environment strongly regulated, if science is well funded, etc. is this where my increased tax contributions are going? |
You are claiming this budget will send the PP's taxes to those in need? |
Haaaa Haaaa! If you mean supporting people "in need" as the richest top percent then no I don't want my tax dollars to go to them. |
How much more would you be willing to pay per year? Remember, the federal government spends about $11.5 Billion every day. |
|
Comstock voted against this budget. So on this issue, my representative is on her constituents side.
I am not sure Trump’s team or house republicans wrote this plan. Trump is from New York. He may not agree with eliminating some of the deductions. |
Question is, how much more will you pay? Let's be clear. |
And this is the truth! The outcry among liberals because it will cost them a few dollars surfaces their hypocrisy. |
Yet none of you conservatives will admit where the extra tax dollars are going. Why is that? |
I'm still waiting for you libs to tell us how much extra you're willing to pay. About three cents? |
I paid 11 million in taxes during Clinton’s reign. I didn’t get to choose. Nor do you. Taxes are taken at the point of a sword |
