I commute and spend a good hour coming and going to work. I got so addicted to certain shows and feel like every few months they are suddenly no longer there, which is super frustrating. Do shows come and go that quickly? How does this work? I used to listen to Taylor in the mornings now its been replaced with Jenn Hutt who i cannot stand to listen to and my commute has suffered Just curious they must be in trouble if they have such short stints with their programs?

| Man, it could be a mixture of things. Poor ratings. Contract negotiations. Vacations. Strikes. etc... |
| Ugh they changed the NPR morning line up and I hate it!! No help, just support! |
| dont think they are doing well if they cannot keep their shows on for more than a few months |
| I haven't listened to NPR since they fired Bob Edwards. |
+1 Basically. Listener comments carry a bit of weight so let them know what you think. |
| Op, Taylor very clearly got fired. I listened to her religiously too and it's clear Sirius fired her. Rumors are its related to the Turks and Caicos trip, but also may be because the show was getting stale and she was never prepared, always repeated topics, and was so narcisstic. She said not coming back, might as well find something else. |
but annoying Jenny Hutt is any better? Ugh cannot stand her voice and speaking of narcissism......also all of sudden Bobby Flay had his own shown then announced he was leaving, it was like weeks! So weird, I feel like there are also many stations that don't even have a show so you hear this same generic message, does not look good for the future of Sirius. |
