Do you have a student who is applying to MS or HS magnet programs and STILL haven't finished his/her application essay(s)? DC is still working on essays and has assured me that it will all be done by midnight  tonight, and that some of his friends are in the same shoes! Really? Why am I having a hard time believing that? I am trying to be chilled and not be a helicopter mom but frankly I am feeling mildly panicked right now.

| Just make sure that you complete the rest of application. It takes 2 seconds to past ready essay. |

| Four years ago DC was applying to two. Essay #1 got written tonight. Essay #2 ended up being Essay #1 with about 10 words changed. Got into both, seems quaint now after the weeks long battle leading up to last night's Early college deadline. |

It might take weeks if you start early enough. If you procrastinate, it can be done in a few hours.
