Hi - has anyone ever had or talked to a doctor about very light periods?
My periods are 1-2 days, depending. I need abt 2 super (regular) tampons on my heaviest day and the other days a panty liner will do. There is so much speculation on the internet about what can cause - low estrogen (so no enough lining) or low progesterone could, it seems. Anyone experience this? I plan to see my dr in the next month or two but I wanted to get any background info others may have. I have been to an endocrinologist and nothing was found to be unusual with my Thyroid. |
Mine are like that too, wasn't an issue for me when trying to get pregnant.
I have similarly light periods. I fill a menstrual cup one day and otherwise could use panty liners. I had one healthy pregnancy and one miscarriage. I've discussed it tangentially with my providers over the years but it's never been flagged as problematic - especially because my cycles are regular. I just consider myself lucky

I would see an acupuncturist - may be able to fix your lining issues with a couple of sessions.
Mine are like this. I conceived fairly easily and had a healthy pregnancy and baby. I have a clotting disorder which may contribute.
I have the same issue and have been trying for a year with no success and have "unexplained" infertility. I've brought it up to my OBGYN and RE and neither seems to think it's an issue. I've always been suspicious it could be indicative of a thin lining or endometriosis though.
I have the same and my RE said it is one of the first signs of peri menopause. I am 40 though. This has just been going on for me for 6 months. I am unexplained secondary infertility of 3 years duration. My lining is always fine at u/s though.
