How can one found out if someone was fired from the job?
Should a company be able to run a background check that would tell if a employee was fired from a job? |
| Most companies wouldn't disclose that info these days, only confirm dates worked, title, and sometimes salary. |

You can ask if they are re-hirable but 99% of the time the company will say yes. You may be able to get away with having the candidate sign a release form that would disclose if they were voluntarily or involuntarily terminated from their previous position. But that would be a pretty slippery slope if you found out they were fired and then did not hire them.
