It’s sad but I think that relates more to King Charles than Kate. It seems kinda karmic that the spirit of Diana won’t let Charles and Camilla enjoy being king and queen for too long.

Fortune tellers were saying since the 80s that Charles wouldn’t be king or if he was king, some BRF family upheaval, scandals, or illness would shorten/weaken his reign .

I know this has to be an extremely difficult event for the both of them, but I do think Kate is tough. The press was awful to her years before she was engaged, getting up in her business during private events, making absurd speculations about personal matters, etc. This is familiar stuff to her. Will? Eh. He might still have some growing to do.

I don't want to say anything mean about Kate and I think that the vast majority of DCUM posters are coming from a place of concern for her, not contempt. You can't say that about a lot of tabloid articles.

I don’t think there’s anything tougher than losing your mom at 15 and having to walk behind her casket in front of the entire world.

It doesn’t matter how rich you are. That’s traumatizing and I don’t think the Queen or Charles knew the emotional tools on how to handle that rather than spoil the boys and let do what they pleased per Harry’s book.

William was also in boarding school and in the military and was a pilot . It doesn’t matter how royal he is. All of that is tough. I’m sure he’s gotten into many tussles/fist fights with his brother, Army colleagues , boarding school mates.

Now he faces losing a parent again and an ill wife with three kids and becoming King soon. That’s very stressful and you can see the stress in his face and body language at recent events.

Presumably, she knows that her approval ratings are very high in the UK (second only to William), and she might even know that in the US her approval ratings were at higher than any other royal.

Is it odd that Charles and Camilla didn’t make any statement whatsoever on Kates abdominal surgery back in January? A dutiful well wishes could’ve been appropriate.

Charles and Camilla reportedly went to see Kate.

William also didn’t visit his father at London Clinic. Harry did. I am not sure if that’s royal protocol that two heirs can’t be in the same hospital room or what but it is interesting nonetheless.

In addition, no cars are driving off from the palace during school hours so Williams excuse of cancelling work to take care of the kids and take them to school is also strange.

Most likely it’s colon surgery with or without a colostomy bag and possibly with steroids that are giving her a puffy face. The Mother’s Day photo was just a giant f— up own goal using an old photo with the clothes changed in photoshop because of current puffy face.

Second most likely it’s ED treatment.

It feels like they are moving the timeline for her return? What has been stated for a while was "Easter" which if she attended a church service (Luke she did at Christmas) would be March 31.
Now it sounds like they are talking about releasing a photo for George's birthday, and returning to public duties after kids return to school after Easter break, and those aren't until mid April.
