The 27s and 28s simply aren’t as good, so not as “lucky” for cap blue. The 29s will be slightly better because it is a better class in the DC area (and overall), but again, won’t be in the top brackets and the cap blue myth takes another hit.

Your campaign to keep M&D DC 2029 together failed spectacularly, and your unpersuasive and off-putting comments on the 2029 forum probably contributed to the failure. You lost, and you can stop now.

Lol, I couldn’t care less about m&d dc. And if anyone based a club decision on a msg board of mainly clueless and bored moms, they would be more pathetic than words could describe. I am just here to bust the chops of the delusional cap blue lovers, who act like it is some magical program who can place kids wherever they want to go. The fact is that there are amazing players in the DC area, but some years are better than others. In years past when the talent was here and cap blue was the only game in town, the teams were amazing. Those kids rightfully got recruited to great schools, but cap blue had very little to do with that, that was mostly the hard work of the player and family. Now that the 2027 and 2028s are in the mix, you can see what happens when the program isn’t blessed (“lucky”) with an abundance of talent. M&D DC isn’t a strong enough competitor to fully break the cap blue spell, but with each passing year of 2nd and 3rd bracket play, the talent will decide to look elsewhere.

You’re going to lose your mind when you find out where some of the Cap 27s will land based on interest they’re receiving.

By “interest” do you mean who is checking out their IWLCA profiles? I would put zero stock in that.

Okay, this is great. You’re not an M&D DC backer, and you definitely aren’t a Capital parent. You are just an a** troll who wakes up on a Saturday to gleefully post about another club being in lower brackets.

The only high horse you could be riding, is that your DD plays for a top MD team and left early to avoid the “downfall”. That means two things, if your DD is so good, then you made this Cap team worse by going to Baltimore, and you are one of the two dads who are big enough jerks to post stuff like this. Enjoy your Saturday.

Best of luck to you. This was the year and you crashed and burned.

Nah, it is going to take a few more years of failing to make top 15 and be in top brackets. The cap blue myth really has a hold on DC, but after the 2029s are just meh, it will cause more parents to look elsewhere when that was never a consideration in previous years.

Ugh the lists are back. Capital acolytes are always working over time to prove themselves.

For sure, there are good players on that team. But the team is not great overall, and the team as a whole will not touch the success of the 25 or 26 teams on the trail. So my mind won’t be lost, but I will definitely be cracking up watching you all lose it over the next 1.5 years.

It was a vertical supersonic crash and burn. Complete obliteration. Nobody has ever failed that badly at anything.

I dunno, the 2028 cap blue 10-14-3 playing mostly 2nd tier teams season seems worse.

I know this is a 2028 board, but since they brought up the 2029s……do they know that team took girls cut from mediocre teams like skywalkers blue and mdu east??? Man, cap blue down bad…

Lol BLC 2030s are #10 and 2031s are #16. Great Cap pipeline. Try harder.

MDDC: Cap lured your best players away. Time to accept it.

Seriously, you guys have no clue, it is so hilarious. You know that the BLC 2029s were #11 in 6th grade? Fell to #17 by 7th, and were barely top 25 this year. Your best girls will leave and the other, better programs will develop their girls better. You guys need to try harder, the 28 cap blue team stinks and the 29s have B players.

I’m not involved with mddc, I just love making cap blue parents sperg out. The 27s and 28s are an afterthought at tournaments, and the 29s will be the same.
