Estrogen after ovulation

I am waiting to start IUI next month and did an unmedicated TI cycle this month. I have a short luteal phase so my RE agreed to test my progesterone post ovulation so I went in this morning. I am 6/7dpo (as confirmed by monitoring) and my progesterone was 19, but my estrogen was only 85 which my RE said was a bit lower than expected.

Does anyone know anything about estrogen levels post-ovulation? I believe they drop again right after and then rise, but shouldn’t mine be much higher at this point? I am wondering if I am completely out this month given my low E2 or if there is still a chance.
