What does everyone think about SYC

The coach for the Samba boys are worthless. They just scream and yell at the kids. Ans they act like the own the field till the lose. Oh and the parents would would subject their kids to that type of environment is just as insane.

So if that's the case they finished second in their group and missed out on the semis due to GD in the U11 bracket of that tournament.
What about the national schedule? Besides the tournament in Texas. Are they playing out of area for Columbus Day weekend?

U10 Bracket. SYC results on the boys and girls side will vary depending on how many “guest players” they can have for any particular weekend. When missing those players, their teams are average at best.

Samba Boyz are the 2012 team. They didn't play up, they played in their normal age group, and placed 3rd (out of 4) in their bracket.

You're reading the wrong. The blue team from last year is now the 2012 academy and they are playing up to 2011.

The blue team that you are reading on this schedule is the old 2012 orange team and they are the 2012 2nd team now.

Alas, the Samba Boyz placed 3rd (out of 4) in their bracket at a recent Labor Day tournament. Apparently, other teams learned how to push back.

Not bad for a team that played up a year. People are really obsessed w the Samba Boyz.

so obsessed that you knew they played a year up? i'm just kidding coach

A little off topic, but I'd like to give a shoutout to the EDP Schedule and Results pages linked to in the prior post. It is super easy to navigate. You can link to specific team and league schedules, and if you go to the "Clubs" tab at the top right, you can see the schedules and results for every team that club has in EDP. This is especially useful if your kids are playing for multiple teams/age groups within a club, or to see how a club is doing overall. I'm pretty sure it wasn't this easy last year.

why does EM's (previous) U16 team do so poorly? too busy shuffling coaches around constantly after losing so many players?
