| I am considering a role with Grant Thornton, and am curious if anyone has experience working there? I know there are mixed reviews surrounding their "unlimited time off" policy, but I'm curious to hear about other aspects. |
| My personal experience with them was not pleasant....the "unlimited time off" is a crock, their utlization rates are really high and when you do the math you end up working longer hours to make up the time you took off....so what's the point? There are a lot of former Big 4 staff there and yes they've taken over a few of those large contracts because they are cheaper than a KPMG or Deloitte ....question is can they sustain them long term? Other than that I know some recent grads that were hired there and they LOVE it so I think it all depends on where you land in the firm. |

What role and what office?
I know senior auditors who use to work there. Their mandatory busy season hours were 75 billable hours. |
| The Tyson’s office also lost multiple audit partners to BDO and as well as multiple tax folks. |
