Does anyone have the Veer wagon? My kids are too old for a stroller but I've been thinking about a wagon for zoo trips etc.

That looks pretty slick and nice marketing - I can see myself wanting one of those, but definitely don't need one.
I will probably get one of those wagons at costco that fold up once we are done with the stroller - I've heard they are great from everything from the zoo to the airport. And about 1/10 the cost. |
If the kids are too big for a stroller, its time for them to get out and WALK! |
We just bought one as a double stroller replacement and will probably return it—the build is very nice but it’s hard to steer in stroller mode, and at that price I don’t think it’s quite worth it. |
I wanted to love it for the beach and long city walks (mainly bc im dreading having no stroller to carry stuff when we’re out running errands), but I didn’t love the steering. This was just trying one for 5 minutes. I am hoping someone tells me I’m wrong and you get used to the steering and it’s easy? |
Yes, I love mine! Surprised PP’s said it’s hard to steer - I have never had that issue. I have used mine now for about 3 years, currently with 2 and 4 year old. I’ve used it in lots of situations, folded it countless times, etc. I love it. |
I've heard good things about the Veer. I've also heard good things about the Jeep wagon, which is cheaper.
Wish they had these when I had a bunch of little ones! Only one little one now so not worth it for me, but I would have gotten a wagon back then. |
I have one and it’s so heavy. Putting it in and out of the car is a pain. The steering isn’t great but for some reason the heavier it is the easier it is to steer. Overall, I would not recommmend. |
PP here again who likes mine - again just so surprised at these comments! Is it heavier than your average stroller? For sure. But I lifted mine in and out of my trunk everyday while pregnant and it was not a big deal. It is like lifting 2 bags of groceries. And I’m just not getting the steering comments. I have taken it in teeny tiny libraries and maneuvered just fine. Everyday now I walk up with it to get my daughter from preschool and when I get there I have to make a sharp u turn, and it is so easy. I honestly feel like it “turns on a dime.” I’m just so confused by these comments…. |
In pushing mode, you have to keep two hands on the handle to prevent it from veering to the left or the right. Or at least, that’s my experience with the one we bought. You also have to put some effort into steering because it’s heavy. Not sure how it compares to jogging strollers. |
I have the Keenz wagon and I really love it. Still fairly easy to push with 2 35 pound 3 year olds. It’s held up for two years including 10 or so gate checks on a plane. |
