Second Date Ideas?

I've recently started dating (after 20 years!) and still very nervous and a bit scared.....I metup with a guy a couple weeks ago for a drink and it went well and we both agreed to go on a 2nd date. I'd like to do an activity this time around (we are both also trying to lose weight), but have no idea of what since I never go out. Any suggestions?

hiking - it's the perfect time of year.

If you live anywhere close by, go to Roosevelt Island with lunch. The hike will be fine no matter what your fitness level.

Short hike, nothing brutal like Old Rag. Bike to Old Town or up the Crescent Trail and eat.

Something would happen like you are afraid of the guy? He would make a more? Or health reasons.? I don't know where you live but there are plenty of populated areas to walk around. A hike can mean a walk on the mall, a walk up and down m street - hanging in the park by the water, walk along the river - it's just good to get outside and enjoy the weather. See if there are any events this weekend. Dcist.com always lists events.

good one. On the same theme: Do a walking tour of the monuments at night. Walk the tidal basin. Hit one of the more interesting museums.
