| I've recently started dating (after 20 years!) and still very nervous and a bit scared.....I metup with a guy a couple weeks ago for a drink and it went well and we both agreed to go on a 2nd date. I'd like to do an activity this time around (we are both also trying to lose weight), but have no idea of what since I never go out. Any suggestions? |
| hiking - it's the perfect time of year. |
| If you live anywhere close by, go to Roosevelt Island with lunch. The hike will be fine no matter what your fitness level. |
| Short hike, nothing brutal like Old Rag. Bike to Old Town or up the Crescent Trail and eat. |
Maybe it's me, but hiking makes me nervous....what if no one is around and something happens? |
Something would happen like you are afraid of the guy? He would make a more? Or health reasons.? I don't know where you live but there are plenty of populated areas to walk around. A hike can mean a walk on the mall, a walk up and down m street - hanging in the park by the water, walk along the river - it's just good to get outside and enjoy the weather. See if there are any events this weekend. Dcist.com always lists events. |
| If good weather walk around the zoo. |
good one. On the same theme: Do a walking tour of the monuments at night. Walk the tidal basin. Hit one of the more interesting museums. |
